I'm finally home!!
But i'm down with flu... ;(
Making last night's plans for Mambo void cos i was feverish n aching like mad.
Had to go to my sinsei in Chinatown for emergency treatment when i woke up in the evening cos i couldn't turn my neck to the right or sleep right!
After the last post while in Dxb still... this is wat i did the remaining 2 days n 2 nights:
- 2 hours of blindfolded hide n seek with 9 others ;D
- 1.5 hours of table soccer with 4 person on each team, push ups as penalty for losing team (double ;D)
- raiding the rooms of 4 others who refused to join us..
- used the mighty washing machine for the first time n uniform almost spin til disintegrated if not for the kind intervention of DC's online home ec advises
- cooked myself another 3 meals n passed the egg test
- watched Wanted n 21 on DVD in the room
- drank tankloads of iced coffee (there's this neat contraption of a coffee machine in the room lar! can't resist! ;p)
- kena fever n worked back with fever for all of 10-11 hrs ;( (2 hr delay somemore. knn)
No pics of the egg-citing night in the crew room though...
Well.. u know wat they say bout us members of the Mile High Club.. *winks*
hahahah yeah rite... ;D
No lar! Never bring camera down cos din expect the crew to be so spontaneous n fun!
It's been 2 yrs plus since the last time i played in-room hide n seek u know!
i think the next time i ever have a chalet activity or house party must suggest this game!
i dunno why my non crew frenz always diss it as childish but it's damn fun can!
U'd never know there will be places to hide in a plain living room until u see some on top of a fridge, a microwave oven, top shelf of a wardrobe, underneath the sofa cushion, underneath the soccer table, posing as a lamp post, slinking behind the flat screen tv............ *giggles*
After catch liao, u have pple hugging the catchee n trying to confuse u with multiple heads, hairy arms n chest n polo tshirt collars n watever while the catcher tries to guess the identity of catchee!
Hilarious!
And all u need is a room n a pair of eyeshades n a bunch of bored pple!

Broccoli, mushrooms with garden veg, panfried chicken breastu won't believe this but i used (eeps, dun laugh) instant coffee!
I was looking around the bare kitchen helplessly after adding oil n chopped up garlic n onions for something to flavour the chicken n saw the instant Nescafe coffee sachets n tot "haR! y not?"
It turned out okie!! Mommy's gonna be proud to know tt i cut out salt in my food! yeehee!

This time i added tea leaves too.. WAhahahha!!!~ ;D
N defrosted it properly...
N cooked it over lower heat.. ;p
I realised tt one has to be patient while cooking...
instead of jus wanting food to be cooked...
otherwise stuff gets burnt on outside n stays uncooked inside!
Applies to barbeques too!! Why pple like big big fires which produce cancer causing charred food!! ;p

Next time will learn chinese food.
N tamade, i get better wifi in Angsana hotel room than my room back at home.

Wah.... When did you pick up cooking? Hehehe... If you interested in baking recipes, i've got some. :)
Baking might jus be a little bit too advanced at the moment. maybe when i have one of those conventional ovens!!
I really hope my new house coming up will have room to put a conventional oven. I MUST get one, by hook or by crook. It's soooo useful! Hehe... No oven, no cooking. Andy shall eat instant noodles then. MUAHAHAHA....
yar... i also want oven.. then i will mke myself lamb chops every other day n die prematurely of heart attack! wahhahaha~
